jason is not particularly interesting to me

jason was just recently released in version 10 of the game and it's... not as interesting as i originally thought that it was. in fact, i don't really like him.

for what it's worth in modern killer design, jason is about as good as you're gonna get. he has a combination of mobility, macro ...

Re: Sable appreciation post

i think it's funny how meg and sable both still come with negative connotations even though people who usually play them are quite chill

Re: the state of the web

I was around for the y2k era of the internet and don't really remember it ever being too deep. MySpace was fun for learning basic code and making a flashy custom page. The one big difference was that music artists generally ran their own pages then, so you could get responses from the actual ...

Re: elusive is an interesting but scary status effect...

unfortunately part of that is due to the shallow gameplay loop they've designed majority of the game around while in their pursuit of making it "more". it wasn't until later that they decided to start incorporating perks and totems through perks to give them some sort of reason to exist. i feel like ...

the state of the web

in my journey to find other forums and platforms to congregate on with people, more am i finding that majority of places don't feel worthy of interaction and it's kind of sad.

a lot of websites that i look for all center around areas of what's considered to be the "retro web", meaning places that ...

Re: elusive is an interesting but scary status effect...

Personally, I like the approach of incorporating it some way into the base game. Perhaps as a reward for Survivors engaging with the game's (currently) subpar side-objectives. For instance, a Survivor who cleanses a Dull Totem or opens a chest will receive X (10? 15?) seconds of Elusive the next ...

Re: Sable appreciation post

oddly enough most sables i've run into were competent and i enjoyed playing both with and against them. they're in the same realm as older meg players—that were either newer or already experienced players.

Re: Let's get the show on the road

:D would be very nice to foster a community here. i think forum culture is very important to have so i'm glad i'm doing this, even if it only sees a few members

having a group of people to have in-depth conversations with is always nice

elusive is an interesting but scary status effect...

so i don't exactly know when elusive was added to the game (to be honest, sometimes things that get added just outright get ignored by me lol), but the introduction of some perks that leverage this status effect in the PTB have been nothing short of chaotic. both in a good and bad way.

'cross ...
